The "tube" of most RC ducted fans is the aircraft itself. As a matter of fact, all GDF's that I am aware of have internal ducted fans. Some EDF's have ducted fan units mounted under the wings or near the rear of the fuselage. Other's have internal ducted fans. Take a look at the Megatech A7 Tornado RTF Jet
For the beginners it is always advised that they must start the remote controlled jet flying hobby with the starter airplanes for beginners and then they can shift to flying remote controlled jets .
